Gracie and Samantha’s love story began in the late summer of 2019 when Gracie started working at Stevenson University as a Graduate Assistant, Sam’s alma mater. On the day Gracie went for her interview, she saw Samantha walking through the parking lot and it was love at first sight. After being hired, they spent time building a friendship. Although Gracie was initially dating someone else, she knew deep down that she wanted to be with Samantha, and Samantha felt the same. During a road trip with Gracie’s team, sparks flew, and by the end of the trip, Gracie confessed her feelings for Samantha. For the past three years, they have been inseparable, building a relationship grounded in mutual respect and shared dreams. Shortly after dating, they started talking about getting married. Two months later, they moved in together and got a dog in the same week. They stayed in Samantha’s townhouse until Gracie finished grad school and secured a teaching job. They began planning their wedding, but in March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed their plans to celebrate with loved ones. In July 2020, they bought a house together, providing the perfect setting for Samantha to propose. On October 24th, 2020, surrounded by their closest family and friends in their backyard, Samantha popped the question, and Gracie happily said yes.
